About Spark Bird Farms

The Heart of the Sanctuary

Spark Bird Farms began in 2021 when baker Lana White discovered that her sourdough starter had an uncanny ability to attract local songbirds. The birds would gather on her patio, drawn by the fermented grains and the morning dew on the herbs she grew.

What started as a quirky observation became a mission: to create a bake stand that honors both the art of bread-making and the beauty of nature. We're nestled in a residential bird sanctuary in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by mature oaks, maples, and the occasional peregrine falcon.

Fun fact: We started as "Feather & Flour" — but we're now officially Spark Bird Farms! The original name lives on in our story and in the hearts of our customers.
